Graduation seems forever ago, but it has only been two weeks since graduation. Very interesting. Anywho, since I moved back to upstate NY last week I've been in a tad bit of an art funk. I have so many ideas swirling around in my head that I end up not acting on any of them because I can't decide where to start. Today i decided to end this by painting...i had to paint something..anything before i drove myself crazy. It is absolutely beautiful outside, so I went onto the porch with my travel paints in hand (smaller size made it easier to balance on the railing) and began painting a dead tree on the side of our house. Here's the happy result:
I'm very proud of myself for not dropping anything off of the second floor porch:)

I'm glad one of us got out of our art funk I still have yet to do something. You also forgot to mention that you are now part of Watercolor Wednesdays. when is something of yours going to be posted there?
ReplyDeleteAll I have to say is that first picture makes me so jealous. I recently went back to New Jersey for a week and felt somehow rejuvenated by being able to run through the woods and breathe not-Philly air. You're lucky you live there.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm happy to see you're doing beautiful free-hearted pieces. I hope we all can manage to do that this Summer. It helps the soul heal :)
